All Scholarships listed below are available to underclassmen at NPHS. Some specify certain grades, others are open to 9-12.
New scholarships will be added according to the deadline date, so scroll through the entire blog entry each time you check. Old entries will be deleted as the deadlines pass.
Hoosier Heros Scholarship
Indiana Dollars for Scholars invites all juniors and seniors to write an essay in order to win one of ten $2000 scholarships. Select a living, current or former, resident of Indiana who inspires you in one of the following categories: Arts&Athletics; Business, Science ,Technology; Education; Personal, Inspirational; Service. Use resources provided at www.HoosierHeroes.org to create a well-written and inspiring essay about your Hero nominating him or her in one of these categories. Submit your nomination online or print the nomination form, complete it, and mail it with your essay to Hoosier Heroes at Indiana Dollars for Scholars, 10475 Crosspoint Blvd., Suite 230, Indianapolis, IN 46256. All nominations must be postmarked by December 11, 2009. Printed applications also available in the guidance department.
On-Line Scholarship Information
The following online websites are sponsored by various educational loan companies who will do free scholarship searches for you. All scholarship information is always available for free. Do not pay for scholarships services. They are conducted by companies that find information you could have gotten for free.
