NPHS Enrollment Information

Parents wishing to enroll new students in North Putnam High School must call the main office at 765-522-6282 and request an enrollment meeting with Principal, Alan Zerkel, or with Assistant Principal, Jason Chew.  Parents should bring a birth certificate, immunization record and proof of residence.

After being admitted by an administrator, students will then go through the course selection and enrollment process with the guidance department.  Please call Kay Grove, Director of Guidance or Tyler Egli, Counselor with any course selection or enrollment questions.

The 2009-10 school year began August 14, 2009.

Semester one will end December 17, 2009

Semester two begins January 4, 2010 and ends May 21.  (Extra days may be added for weather related make-up.)

9th Grade Class Request 2010-11

All 2009-10 8th grade students who will be entering NPHS as 2010-11 ninth grade students will go through the following series of meetings and information sessions.

• All 2009-10 8th grade students will meet with guidance personnel in classroom presentations during the school day in  March 2010 to learn about the different North Putnam High School diploma requirements, course offerings, and enrollment information.
• February  meetings will be  held in the high school auditorium for parents of 2009 eighth grade students.  Guidance personnel  will present high school courses and diploma requirements.  Information will be duplicated in each of two meetings; parents need attend only one. 
• Guidance personnel will meet with all 8th grade students to create four-year course plans and complete 2010-11 9th grade course request forms during April.
• 2010-11 course request sheets will be  returned to the 8th grade teachers by mid-March.
